  • Navigate the lake: There are several companies that offer different types of tours and types of watercrafts. You will be able to get closer to the Icebergs in a safe way. Jökulsárlón is approximately 380 kilometers away from Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. You can book an excursion with a travel agency, most of them offer transportation by bus but if you have rented a vehicle and would like to head there on your own, do not worry, it is very easy to reach: you only need to take Road N1 Suðurlandsvegur/Þjóðvegur.
