Everyone knows Reykjavik is the capital city of Iceland, therefore it is the most populated city in the country and it has many wonderful places awaiting to be discovered. You can of course take a normal tour around the city or you can make it the fun way for you and your kids!

Your Iceland holidays with children can also be quite adventurous! Horse riding will get your kids in contact with animals, as they are allowed to pet the horses it is funny and relaxing at the same time.

4. Puffin Watching
Puffins are one of the most well-known bird species in the country, they are as cute as can be! And here in Iceland we have several colonies you can visit. This is a lovely activity to do as a one-day excursion. Kids love to see this funny looking birds, it is so exciting to see them diving into the freezing waters while hunting for food. Many puffin watching tours require you to get into a boat. This is also a plus if your kids have never experienced what sailing feels like!
