Reykjavík is the capital city of Iceland. Everything you can think related to Icelandic culture, Party, supermarkets and shopping centers…etc. can easily be found here. The city is not huge so its environment is cozy and welcoming for any travelers or visitor. Wandering through its streets are delightful.

Iceland has a low density of population but we could easily day that the 93% of Icelanders live in the capital. Making it the biggest town in Iceland with a population of 123.300 and over 216.000 if you also count the Capital Region.

Reykjavík, whose name means the Smokey bay, is located in the south west area of Iceland. Due to the Gulf Stream, weather in the area is not as rough and cold as it should be for its location. Nowadays the city is full of activities, options and history completely at your disposal.
